Returns and Right of Withdrawal Policy
This policy explains the right of withdrawal, the return and exchange process, and your rights regarding defective products for orders placed on ethosshoes.com. All your rights under Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Regulation on Distance Contracts are reserved.

14-day right of withdrawal
You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the day you receive your order, without giving any reason and without paying any penalty. Our handing the product to the carrier does not count as delivery; the period starts on the day you, or a person you designate, receive the product. You may also exercise your right of withdrawal before receiving your order, even while the product is still being made.
When the right of withdrawal does not apply
None of the exceptions to the right of withdrawal listed in the Regulation on Distance Contracts applies to the products sold on our website. Although our products are made to order, they are made in standard sizes and without personalisation, so you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for all of them.
How to give notice of withdrawal
It is enough to tell us your decision before the withdrawal period ends:
- By email: write to info@ethosshoes.com with your order number, stating that you are exercising your right of withdrawal.
- In writing: send it to our address above.
We will confirm by email that we have received your notice and send you the return code and shipping information. You may use the sample withdrawal form at the end of this page, but you do not have to. Returning the invoice or the box is not a condition of the right of withdrawal. Email is the easiest way to keep a record of your notice.
Returning the product
You must send the product back to us within 14 days from the date you sent your withdrawal notice.
- Free return shipping: When we receive your notice of withdrawal, we email you a return code and shipping instructions so that you can send the product at no cost. If you send the product with this return code, you are not charged for return shipping.
- If the return code has not reached you: You may send the product cash on delivery, with the shipping charge paid by us.
- If there is no carrier branch where you are located from which you can send the product with the return code, we will arrange for the product to be collected from you free of charge.

Refund of your payment
- We refund the full amount you paid within 14 days at the latest from the date you hand the product to the carrier with the return code. If you sent the product without using the return code, this period starts on the date the product reaches us.
- If you withdrew before the product was delivered to you, the period starts on the date your notice reaches us.
- The refund is made to the card you used for payment, in a single transaction and at no cost to you. The time it takes for the amount to appear in your account depends on your bank.
Use of the product
You are not responsible for changes and deterioration that occur when you use the product during the withdrawal period in accordance with its function, technical features and instructions for use. You are, however, responsible for changes and deterioration resulting from use that does not comply with these; this does not take away your right of withdrawal. We recommend trying the shoes on indoors, on a clean and soft surface.
Size exchange
If you would like a different size, write to info@ethosshoes.com within the withdrawal period. Your exchange request also counts as a notice of withdrawal; if the new size cannot be made or you change your mind about the exchange, your payment is refunded within the periods above. For an exchange, the product is sent back under the return rules above; no shipping fee is charged for your new size. Because every pair is made to order, your new size is handed to the carrier within 15 business days at the latest after the product you returned reaches us.
Defective, damaged or wrong product
If the product is defective, damaged or different from what you ordered, write to info@ethosshoes.com with your order number and, if possible, photos. In this case all costs, including shipping, are borne by us.
Under Law No. 6502, for a defective product you may choose one of the following rights:
- rescission of the contract (refund),
- a price reduction in proportion to the defect,
- free repair,
- replacement of the product with a non-defective pair.
Repair and replacement requests are fulfilled within 30 business days at the latest. Our liability for defective products lasts 2 years from the date of delivery; defects that appear within 6 months after delivery are presumed to have existed at the time of delivery. These legal rights are independent of your right of withdrawal.

Complaints and disputes
You can reach us with any request or complaint at info@ethosshoes.com or +90 539 220 90 08. In the event of a dispute, you may apply to the consumer arbitration committee at your place of residence or where the transaction was made, within the monetary limits announced each year by the Ministry of Trade; for disputes above these limits, you may apply to the consumer court after the mandatory mediation process.
